About us

Government Girls Polytechnic, Shamli has been Established in the year 1989 affiliated by “Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh” (BTE UP), Lucknow and approved by “ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION, NEW DELHI” (AICTE, New Delhi). The 3-year duration course DIPLOMA IN ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING was started from the SESSION 1989-90. The institue campus is spread in 6.8acre area.

      The institute has achieved a good rank among the Government Polytechnics of Uttar Pradesh very soon and maintained a high quality standard of technical education. Further, to spread new technical education in the rural areas following diploma courses has been increased as follows:
 

• 3 year Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering was started from the session 2001-02
• 3 year Diploma in Fashion Desinging and Garment Technology was started from the session 2003-04
• 2 year Diploma in Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practices was started from the session 2003-04
• 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy with Computerised Accounts and Taxation was started from the session 2011-12

All the above courses are approved by “BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION UTTAR PRADESH” (BTE UP), Lucknow and approved by “ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION, NEW DELHI” (AICTE, New Delhi).

Campus of Government Girls Polytechnic, Shamli is full of greenary. Campus has totally ragging free environment. Whole campus including residence and hostels are equipped with free wi-fi facility. All the laboratories and workshops are equipped with latest technological instruments and equipments. Students enjoy practical hands on experience in laboratories and workshops from their teachers and induries experts. After completion of the courses students opt for job in reputed industries and higher education in reputed institutions in India and abroad.

Institute provides residential quarters to the staff and four numbers of hostel facilities to their students.
